In 1988, after a 9-month tour of the western half of America, Ted Dwyer and his wife Christine chose to settle down in Flagstaff, Arizona. As a new face in town, Ted searched for an established financial planning firm to join but was unable to find one that aligned with his vision. Drawing on his background in management, insurance and finance, he decided to start his own firm from scratch, becoming the first CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® to practice in Flagstaff.
Ted is also a Chartered Financial Consultant®, a Chartered Life Underwriter®, a life member of MENSA, and a member of Friends of Flagstaff’s Future. He is a past board president of Northland Preparatory Academy (where his two kids graduated from), a past board member of Northland Hospice and past board treasurer of Arizona Central Credit Union.
Ted is the creator of The Einstein Plan—a Roth retirement savings strategy for young working adults. He also enjoys writing Financial Haiku and claims to be writing two books.
Working Toward The Future
A Flagstaff local with a passion for business and finance, Gaby grew up learning the ins and outs of business management while working for her fathers’ company. She earned her bachelor’s degrees from the University of Arizona and spent the next five years pursuing her career in the medical field. In 2023, a new venture rekindled her entrepreneurial spirit, prompting her to leave medicine and embrace her calling as a financial adviser.
We are excited to welcome Gabrielle Fitzwater to our firm in 2024. With her analytical and business background she brings fresh perspectives and passion for financial education. Gaby enjoys helping clients prepare for the unexpected through thoughtful investment management and estate planning. As a financial adviser, she strives to make a real difference in the lives of her clients and future generations.
